HTC Evo 4g LTE

The HTC Evo 4G is going to be the One X on Sprint. It has a very nice looking design and will it will have a 4.7 inch screen. HTC is doing a great job of keeping a line of devices available on other carriers. There are some differences, but over all they are the same.

With the HTC Evo 4G LTE, it's pretty much like comparing a Ford Fusion to a Lincoln MKZ. The Evo being the Lincoln with some better features. From the front it looks the same as One X, however on the back you get a totally different looking phone.

Look at the image below and you will see the Evo has a rear kickstand and a button set up just for pictures. Now the back end does look a little different, it kind of makes you think of the days of the HTC Droid Incredible. Everyone was scratching their heads but thought it was kind of cool at the same time.

What makes the rear of the camera stick out is the bottom part being a flat black color and the top being glossy. You add the Red Kickstand and you get a phone that really stands out while you hold it to you head. People are either going to love or hate this.

Samsung Flexible Phone

According to news outlets, Samsung is going to release flexible phones sometime this year. If you are unfamiliar with flexible phones, they will be able to twist much as the ones seen in this photo. Samsung has already released phones with curved glass, adding flexible glass is another way of showing that they are ahead of the game.

In all practicality however, why would you need a phone that flexes. It might be pretty cool to show off for a while, and it might just be a little more comfortable in your pocket. However, after that it will just be a phone that is floppy.

HTC One X

The HTC One X is heading our way in the 2nd quarter of this year on AT&T. The One X is going to be the largest HTC headset available for you to purchase. The 4.7 screen should give good competition to let's say the Galaxy Note. With smaller dimensions you might not feels as weird carrying the HTC One X around as with the Note.

A few things that are really making this phone stand out are its size, horsepower, camera, and audio capabilities. This combination of features is what has made HTC a leader in the past. Samsung might lead the race but HTC is right on their tail.

As I said above the HTC One X is going to have a 4.7 inch screen which is large however not clown large. The display is going to be a 720p HD for good picture quality. The pixel density should be around 312 a little behind it's competitors but maybe not really enough to tell. One great introduction

Galaxy S II ICS

If you have a Galaxy S II you should finally be getting ICS on your device. Roll outs started yesterday so if you have not got the update stand by to be happy!!

The roll outs have started in Europe and Korea and will continue to move forward thought out the month. For those of you who are impatient, I am sure you will be able to find an apk. to get it a little sooner. If any sites come available I will make sure to post it.

Samsung is not just stopping on the Galaxy S II. If you have a Note, Tab 10.1 or a Tab 8.9 you should be getting ICS in the not too distant future. As for now those dates have yet to be released but are promised.

It is pretty exciting to see some older devices finally getting these updates. I am glad Samsung is getting it out to Samsun owners. I really wish Motorola, and HTC would start to do these roll outs a little sooner.

If you would like to stay updated on the roll outs follow Samsung’s blog below.

Samsung Galaxy S III quad-core wonder

The Galaxy S III is going to be the next flagship phone for Samsung. It is going to be a quad-core wonder that other phones will strive to be in 2012. It is great that Samsung continues to build fantastic phones. It makes everyone else stand on their toes.

The galaxy will have a 4.8 inch screen and a look very similar to the previous galaxy phones. By the way the pictures look it seems as though the screen will take up most of the faceplate real estate. Leaving little room around the edges. Hopefully this will not leave the screen susceptible to cracking on a short fall.

Nokia 808 PureView Camera Phone

If you are one of those individuals who enjoy taking a ton of pictures this might be the phone for you. Nokia’s 808 PureView Smartphone is more of a Camera than a phone. At 41 megapixels the camera has some real power and will take some excellent photos. You might not want to get rid of you DSLR but your point and shoot may be out the door.

Nokia really seems to want to stay in the game as a phone manufacture. With this phone they really do seem to be getting a lot of needed attention. Their marketing of pushing out the 41 megapixels phone is great. Just about everyone who is into phones has taken the time to read reviews on this phone.

Galaxy Note 5.3 inch Behemoth

The Galaxy Note

The new Galaxy Notes is a 5.3 inch Behemoth of a phone. I have to give it to Samsung for coming out with something that has not been seen. I am curious to see if it catches on or fizzles out like the Ford Edsel. At 5.3 inches it seem easier to call it a tablet however Samsung is not calling it a tablet. Instead they are calling it a Superphone. It seems reasonable because I cannot think of anything else to call it either.

Nokia Lumia 900 At $99.00

The Nokia Lumia 900 is ok phone for all of the hype that has been going around. At the expected $99.00 price tag you are really getting what you pay for.  Taking a quick peek at the phone it has some cool features mostly on from Nokia.

One thing that is really awesome about the phone is the 8mp camera with the Carl Zeiss optics lens. Sony has been using Carl Zeiss on their point and shot cameras for years. I think this might be a great addition

Evernote remember everything

As I am sure many of you have heard of Evernote. However do you know what it does?  If not you are missing on a great opportunity of remembering part of your life.

There are many things that Evernote offer that you cannot get anywhere else. For one it Syncs across all of your devices and it does so very simply. If you want to have a very complete record of life events I think this is one of the easiest ways of doing. Granted you can also do this on Facebook but sometimes it is

Razor Maxx is the complete deal

Motorola has been making some kick a** phones lately. When the Razor came out late last year I thought It  was a great upgrade to the Droid X. However the Razor Maxx is a complete phone compared to its predecessors. Although it is nearly identical to the Razor.

Looking back the Droid X was an awesome phone when it came out. It was sleek, sexy, and very well made. Much like the Razor when it came out in

Touchscreen gloves saving your calls

Winter Sucks plain and simple! What makes it worse is when you have gloves on and cannot answer or text on your phone. That's where touch screen gloves come into play. They could be a real life saver for individual in cooler climates. Surprisingly there a lot of people who think they have to take their gloves off.

The reason you are unable to use your phone with gloves is because of capacitive touchscreen. Capacitive screens interact with the electrical current in your fingers. So putting on regular gloves blocks

Motorola Droid 4 its pretty nice

The Droid 4 is a nice update to the aging Droid line.  It has the look of the Droid Razor which is very nice indeed. I really don’t know that many people that use a keyboard on their phone anymore but I know they are out there and I would strongly recommend this phone to them. They promise to have made huge improvements to the keyboard compared to previous generations.

Sony Xperia S they finally nailed one

First off let me tell you I have been a huge Sony fan. I swear everything in my house was Sony. The only exception was my phone.  Now comes the day I want one of their phones.

The Xperia comes with a 1.5 dual-core processor for all of your gaming needs. It also comes with a 12 megapixel camera. From what I can tell it has next to no shutter lag much like the Iphone 4s and Galaxy Nexus. It will take stunning 1080p video for its beautiful display. The front facing camera will be 1.3 megapixel taking 720p video at 30 fps.
