Are you having some Facebook and Twitter fatigue? Take some time away and get hooked to
something new at Pinterest. Trying
to explain Pinterest is difficult because they are so many things.
First off they are a sort of social media site. You can
either follow people or be followed. If your Facebook friends have an account
you can integrate it so you can see who your friends are following or see the
articles they like. One great thing
about this is the feedback you can get on an idea.
Next they are a type of
image hosting service. You upload articles with pictures that can either
be uploaded to Pinterest or linked from another site. Some of the image
galleries I have opened up are really good with lots of content and great quality.
You will really have to check Pinterest out for yourself to
get a good understating of what they are. You will not be disappointed with all
of the content they have to offer. For me it sure beats a lot of content I find
around the web. There are a couple of inconveniences but nothing major.
Lag can be a little bit of an issue at times. Traffic seems
to be the and have noticed it at peak times. Second you will have to wait about
a week after you sign up for an account to be able to see all of the content. However
I am telling you right now totally worth the wait.
