Nokia 808 PureView Camera Phone

If you are one of those individuals who enjoy taking a ton of pictures this might be the phone for you. Nokia’s 808 PureView Smartphone is more of a Camera than a phone. At 41 megapixels the camera has some real power and will take some excellent photos. You might not want to get rid of you DSLR but your point and shoot may be out the door.

Nokia really seems to want to stay in the game as a phone manufacture. With this phone they really do seem to be getting a lot of needed attention. Their marketing of pushing out the 41 megapixels phone is great. Just about everyone who is into phones has taken the time to read reviews on this phone.

D-Link DCS-932L Wireless Camera

Do you ever wish that you could see what’s going on at home when you’re stuck at the office, or see who’s at the front door without getting out of your lazy boy?  Now you can!

With the D-Link wireless network camera, you can keep track of what’s important from your pc, laptop, iPhone, or Android.  Whether you want to see if Fido is misbehaving, or your teenager makes her curfew, this little device does the trick.

Quickpic Update

For those of you who use Quickpic for Android there was a great upgrade over the weekend. The interface changed a little but nothing dramatic. It might a few minutes to get used to it but I actually think it is a good change.

My biggest fear when I saw the update was performance. I was almost certain it was going to be slower but I was really wrong. Quickpic seems to be much faster and the tools seem to be a lot easier to use. If you have not heard about Quickpic read my previous post ->Quickpic Review from GadX

50 GB free online storage

If you are needing to back up some files or just want some files to keep online so that you can access online ADrive might be the way to go.

ADrive offers 50 GB of free online storage. That is a monstrous amount considering you can only get 2 GB of free storage on DropBox.

Take in mind it is a free so there are advertisements everywhere and it is not as pretty as many other

Free app of the day 2/25/12

Aces traffic is a puzzle game where you try and maneuver the red car out of the parking situation it has gotten into. There are similar games on the Android market for free however this version has better graphics and there are no ads.

Next generation stealth bomber

The United States has passed a bill to spend nearly 4 billion dollars on their new long range stealth bomber. Keep in mind that is only the cost for development not the actual plane itself and there has been no mention of testing. There is talk of this plane being developed to infiltrate China's airspace. It will be interesting, with all the budget cuts, to see if this plane ever takes off at all.

The cost of the development of this
plane seems like a lot of money, however you have to consider the last stealth fighters cost  1 billion dollars each. God only knows how much money

Customzie your Android device with ADW Launcher EX

If you are looking to customize you Android headset the best on the Market is ADW Launcher EX. There are so many options for you to choose from that you can truly make any phone you own. I really like using ADW and have been hooked since I figured out how to use it. I used to be a huge fan of LauncherPro however they kind of fell of the face of the earth and GO Launcher will eat away at your battery. As for  SPB shell 3D well if you get SPB you're not the smartest tool in the shed.

When you start out the first thing you're going to

8 GB Nook Tablet released

B&N has released a new Nook to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire. The 8 GB Nook looks exactly like the 16 GB version however internally there are quite a bit of differences. They have reduced the amount of on-board memory by half and reduced the RAM by half as well.

The design of the 8 GB Nook will be the same as the 16 GB version. I will be honest at first I did not get the design and why it was so big. The screen looks small with such a larger border. However when I picked up and used it I understood why they chose that design. You can easily grip it with one hand and not cover up the screen.  Typically with other tablets you have to palm the back to not cover your viewing area.

What is also great is that they added buttons to the design. The nook has a power, volume, and

SMS Back up + Back up your messages

Are you getting a new phone or do you have to do a factory reset? If you need to do either of the two and are worried about losing your text messages the best app to use is SMS Backup +. SMS Backup+ backs up your entire sms, mms, and call log to your Gmail account.

I really love this app because it is so easy to use. After you connect you simply back up your messages. What happens is that your messages get saved to your Gmail account. If you look under Labels in Gmail you will see  the label (SMS). Simply select it and you

Swiftkey X by far the best!

Are you tired of trying every keyboard on the android market only to find they are garbage? Well I am too! After testing out about a dozen different keyboards. I would have to say that Swiftkey X is by far the best keyboard out there. It just makes my life so much easier.

There are four different themes to choose from that are very clean looking. The layout is also great. When you first open Swfitkey X up the layout looks much like the stock keyboard. In fact some of the letters might look a little bit smaller. Even though they look smaller it is 100 times easier to type on this keyboard.

The UnLocker learn about Rooting

There are so many things you can do with your phone. It is very unfortunate that carriers load them with bloat ware robbing your phone of its true potential. The UnLocker is an interesting website giving you many details on a variety of phones that are out there.

So if you are a beginner looking to learn something new or a seasoned veteran The UnLocker should have some good info for the both of you. Check them out at the link below.

Ray William Johnson =3 funny on YouTube

Are you looking for something funny to watch on the internet? If so check out Ray William Johnson on =3. I started watching this guy back in 2009. It is amazing to see how much his show has progressed since then. He now has about 300 hundred videos posted and has one of the most popular shows on YouTube.

The basis of his show is to bring you some of the funniest trending videos of YouTube. He presents them by making fun of the videos and himself along the way. It is much like a Tosh.0 show in

Galaxy Note 5.3 inch Behemoth

The Galaxy Note

The new Galaxy Notes is a 5.3 inch Behemoth of a phone. I have to give it to Samsung for coming out with something that has not been seen. I am curious to see if it catches on or fizzles out like the Ford Edsel. At 5.3 inches it seem easier to call it a tablet however Samsung is not calling it a tablet. Instead they are calling it a Superphone. It seems reasonable because I cannot think of anything else to call it either.

Veloster aggressive little stance

Turbo 2013 Version
I just recently saw the Veloster for the first time a few weeks ago and it really had me scratching my head.  It has an aggressive little stance to it that makes it look like it would scream around the corners. If you look inside the instrument panel seems just as unique as the exterior.

It has some pretty cool standard features. The interior comes with a  7-inch high-resolution touchscreen,  Bluetooth hands-free phone system with voice recognition, and three

QR Codes strange looking symbols

I've noticed these strange looking little symbols all over the place lately, but until recently, I didn't know much about them.  They are called QR(quick response) codes, and have been described as "bar codes on steroids".

Originally developed by a Japanese company to track automotive parts, these little designs can store up to 4296 alphanumeric or 7089 numeric characters depending on the level of error correction applied(not sure what that means).

HDR Camera for some better pictures

Are you looking to take some better pictures with your phone? If so try HDR Camera on Android. It is a great way to capture images that just need a little more pop to them. Now I know there are a lot of camera apps out there and a lot of them simply suck. However HDR Camera does stand out from its peers.

With stock camera on your phone or many other camera apps you take a single picture for you result. So a lot of the detail from you photo might be missing. With HDR it takes three images and combines them to give you a pretty

Nokia Lumia 900 At $99.00

The Nokia Lumia 900 is ok phone for all of the hype that has been going around. At the expected $99.00 price tag you are really getting what you pay for.  Taking a quick peek at the phone it has some cool features mostly on from Nokia.

One thing that is really awesome about the phone is the 8mp camera with the Carl Zeiss optics lens. Sony has been using Carl Zeiss on their point and shot cameras for years. I think this might be a great addition

Evernote remember everything

As I am sure many of you have heard of Evernote. However do you know what it does?  If not you are missing on a great opportunity of remembering part of your life.

There are many things that Evernote offer that you cannot get anywhere else. For one it Syncs across all of your devices and it does so very simply. If you want to have a very complete record of life events I think this is one of the easiest ways of doing. Granted you can also do this on Facebook but sometimes it is

US Navy's latest railgun

Look to the right and it looks like a regular type of gun. It is a gun but far from regular. It is a prototype of the US Navy’s latest railgun. The version shown here is a 32 megajoule version. BAE which is producing this in-particular weapon does plan to get 64 megajoule versions later down the road.

At this point in time the military guns

Chrome Beta for Android

Finally my favorite browser comes to Android. I love Chrome on my desktop its is clean simple and easy to use. The same comes to Chrome beta for Android.

When you open it up is is much like any other browser. You have your home page and can do searches. When you start opening multiple tabs it is very different. For instance with the stock browser or Dolphin browser you have to scroll to the top

Razor Maxx is the complete deal

Motorola has been making some kick a** phones lately. When the Razor came out late last year I thought It  was a great upgrade to the Droid X. However the Razor Maxx is a complete phone compared to its predecessors. Although it is nearly identical to the Razor.

Looking back the Droid X was an awesome phone when it came out. It was sleek, sexy, and very well made. Much like the Razor when it came out in

Touchscreen gloves saving your calls

Winter Sucks plain and simple! What makes it worse is when you have gloves on and cannot answer or text on your phone. That's where touch screen gloves come into play. They could be a real life saver for individual in cooler climates. Surprisingly there a lot of people who think they have to take their gloves off.

The reason you are unable to use your phone with gloves is because of capacitive touchscreen. Capacitive screens interact with the electrical current in your fingers. So putting on regular gloves blocks

Need a new hook? Try Pinterest

Are you having some Facebook and Twitter fatigue?  Take some time away and get hooked to something new at Pinterest. Trying to explain Pinterest is difficult because they are so many things.

First off they are a sort of social media site. You can either follow people or be followed. If your Facebook friends have an account you can integrate it so you can see who your friends are following or see the articles they like.  One great thing about this is the feedback you can get on an idea.

QuickPic for a faster Android Gallery

Would you like a good upgrade to the Android gallery? QuickPic might be one of the best alternatives. It is so much better than the stock gallery in Android that Google should really just buy them out. The interface is laid out much better and it seems to load a hell of a lot quicker.

When I rooted my phone and got rid of HTC Sense the gallery was one of two options I actually missed. QuickPic is very

As a kid growing up did you have an obsession with digging holes. If so Gem Miner might be the game for you. It is a great game to waste a not so perfect winter afternoon.

Tennis ball home remedies

Do you sit at in front of a computer all day either at home or at work? If you do I am sure your back starts to hurt from time to time. There are many options to help relieve that pain.

You can get a massager for you chair or simply get a massage from a professional. However one of the cheapest options I have found is a tennis ball. Yes a tennis ball and let me tell you it works absolutely great.
