The Nokia Lumia 900 is ok phone for all of the hype that has
been going around. At the expected $99.00 price tag you are really getting what
you pay for. Taking a quick peek at the
phone it has some cool features mostly on from Nokia.
One thing that is really awesome about the phone is the 8mp
camera with the Carl Zeiss optics lens. Sony has been using Carl Zeiss on their
point and shot cameras for years. I think this might be a great addition
to a Smartphone
which has practically take over the digital camera era
.
Next you have the display it is 4.3 inches with Nokia
ClearBlack display which makes the AMOLED have deep black colors. On the front
you will also have a 1.3MP front facing camera for video chat. Protecting the
screen and the camera is Gorilla Glass. So you might not have to worry about
throwing this phone around a little.
Microsoft has provided Mango 7.5 which fizzle has fizzled
out. I was really hoping Microsoft would hit our of the ball park to put some competition
out there with IOS and Android. However that seems like a distant dream now. If
Microsoft does not get serious they might as well throw in the towel like Symbian.
It seemed like Nokia and Microsoft had huge ambitions. Whatever
happened is beyond me because they are now giving you a new Smartphone that
should have been new a couple of years ago. If you go out and buy a $99.00 IOS
or Android device look at the specs and you are getting a Nokia Lumia 900. Sad
but true. Maybe one day we will get a SuperPhone from the two but not this
year.
