Angry Birds Space Review

Rovio continues to build upon their franchise with Angry Birds Space. It is hard to believe that they can still come up with new ideas on how to sling birds across your screen. With Angry Birds Space they came up with a unique way that works really well.

The concept of the game is pretty much the same. Sling the birds and kill the pigs. What is really awesome with the Space version is how the birds react in space. They will get grabbed by gravitational pull to swing around the androids to kill the pig. If you miss on the first try the birds will loop around until they hit their target or crash into an object. If you miss the gravitational field you bird will shoot off into deep space not to be seen again.

There are also levels that have multiple gravitational fields. You will have to shoot the Angry Birds just right so they will do somewhat of a figure eight to hit their target. A little more strategy is required in Angry Birds Space than previous versions.

Some of the Angry Birds look a little different however they perform somewhat the same. When you tough you screen you will see what kind of special ability they have.

Over all the game sticks to its basic roots and does not have drastic changes that make you ask WTF. There is a free version and a paid version that are 99c on Android and the iPhone. The iPad version is listed at 2.99. There is also a free version with ads if you don’t mind seeing them.

If you love or hate Angry Birds they will be sticking around for quite some time. For your family members and friends that love Angry Birds be prepared to not see them around for the couple of weeks till they get their fix in.
